FAQ

The Fife Bloodhounds meet primarily on Sundays at noon during the hunting season from mid-October to the end of March, near St Andrews. Some mid-week Hunts are also held during holidays.

Membership options include Family, Full, 16-18-Year-Old, Children’s, Foot Followers, and Day Caps, with prices ranging from £20 to £1,350 per month or per year.

Riders should wear tweed jackets, cream/beige jodhpurs or breeches, a shirt/tie or stock, and black or brown long boots. Raincoats are acceptable in poor weather conditions.

Horses should be fit with sound brakes, accustomed to riding with other horses and hounds, clean, and smartly turned out. Plaiting is desired for the opening meet, and horses that kick should wear a red ribbon in their tail. Green ribbons are recommended for first-time horses.
